This is a strenuous trek requiring good physical fitness and prior high-altitude trekking experience. Proper acclimatization is crucial. Trekkers should be prepared for basic accommodations and potential weather changes.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu

Day 2: Fly to Taplejung, drive to Mitlung

Day 3-5: Trek to Ghunsa via Chirwa, Sekathum, and Amjilosa

Day 6-7: Acclimatization and exploration around Ghunsa

Day 8-10: Trek to Pangpema (North Base Camp) via Kambachen and Lhonak

Day 11: Explore Pangpema

Day 12-13: Return to Ghunsa

Day 14-15: Trek to Tseram via Sele La pass

Day 16: Day trip to Ramche and Yalung Glacier (South Base Camp area)

Day 17-20: Trek back to Taplejung via Tortong and Yamphudin

Day 21: Fly back to Kathmandu

Day 22-23: Buffer days for weather or rest

Day 24: Depart Kathmandu
